Pilgrims of Gosaikunda
It was early morning and I was in Lauribina during the final stretch of Nepal’s Gosaikunda trek. A sheet of soft clouds had taken over and I was observing the beauty around me when I came across pilgrims riding on ponies to reach the sacred lake. -
Fog Approaching Gosaikunda
During my stay, the sacred Gosaikunda lake was barely visible due to fog and clouds taking over the lake. So I couldn’t believe when I saw the lake – partially visible and soon to be covered in fog again – I did not think much. A picture had to be made and this is the result. -
Into the Woods
It was August 2021 when I embarked on a trek to Nepal’s sacred Gosaikunda lake amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Although I was coming out of the pandemic-induced isolation, there were moments throughout the trek when I felt isolated and melancholic. This picture of fog-covered forest is a representation of my state of mind during the trek.
