Ramadan Photowalk – Ahmedabad
April 1 @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Understand and capture the essence of Ramadan through a photowalk in Ahmedabad.
Ramadan is the holiest month in Islamic calendar when muslims across the world abstain from food and drinks from dawn to sunset. Beside fasting, Muslims also engage in prayers and charity. Join me on a photowalk where we visit a Muslim neighbourhood in Ahmedabad and capture the unique atmosphere of Ramadan.
This photowalk aims to create an atmosphere of community and harmony by bringing together people from diverse backgrounds.
Overview
The walk begins with an introduction of Ramadan and its religious significance. Then we walk around a market where dates, fruits, milk-based drinks, and Ramadan-special items are sold before sunset.
If you are starting out in street photography, are an enthusiast or admirer, and you want to build confidence, want to learn how to portray the world the way you see it, this walk is for you. At the end of the walk, you will gain confidence, start building your perspective, and learn to depict the life around you.
